Le Hameau des Genêts, a 3-star vacation village in southern Aveyron
Two hectares of trees, a river, wooden cabins, and not a car in sight: a pedestrian-friendly, secure vacation village designed for families, sports enthusiasts, friends, and groups.

A cabin that suits you
Accommodating 2 to 7 people, our 32 cabins are open year-round. Each one features:
- Reversible air conditioning
- Fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker, and TV
- 10 m² covered patio with outdoor furniture
Depending on the pitch, the view overlooks the shaded park, the Dourdou River, or the mini-farm.

Plenty to keep the whole family entertained
Two swimming pools (one of which is indoor and heated), a mini-farm, a tennis court, a volleyball court, pétanque, and mountain bikes available for loan. The kids will love feeding the animals.

For those who love to be active
Certified for Hiking, Fishing, and Cycling, Le Hameau offers direct access to trails and the Dourdou River. Nearby, the Gorges du Tarn offer canoeing, canyoning, paragliding, and tree-top adventure courses.

For groups
Seminars, family reunions, weekends with friends: a 60 m² multipurpose room and half-board or full-board options are available (please contact us).

From the Hameau, a gate with a code leads to the green beach along the Dourdou River.

The Mini-Farm
Ponies, donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, and rabbits roam freely. On some mornings, children can help feed the animals. The days and times are posted at the front desk.

For Kids
In July and August, activities are offered. There’s also a playground in the Hameau and another one by the river.

Fishing and Gastronomy
The Dourdou River is rich in trout, gudgeon, roach, and dace. In the woods, you’ll find chanterelles and porcini mushrooms, which the local cuisine knows how to prepare beautifully.

Aveyron, a land of contrasts and history
Between Rouergue and the Mediterranean, the landscape of Aveyron changes with every turn.

Natural Landscapes
From vast plateaus to the deep canyons of the Gorges du Tarn, passing through lush valleys: here you can hike, fish (in Category 1 and 2 rivers), and paddle down the rivers in a canoe or kayak.

Templar Towns
A land of legend since the Middle Ages, the Larzac region is home to La Couvertoirade, Sainte-Eulalie-de-Cernon, and La Cavalerie, which tell the story of an eventful past.

Heritage and Villages
The Route des Seigneurs du Rouergue winds through a series of castles (Montaigut, Fayet, Brousse, and Coupiac) and villages ranked among the most beautiful in France.

Gastronomy
A land of livestock farming, the Aveyron produces the sheep’s milk used to make the famous Roquefort cheese, whose nearby cellars are open to visitors year-round.
