Nardò 15 km from Gallipoli: Villa is situated in the beautifil countryside of Salento and a few kilometres the coastline with the famous beaches of Porto Cesareo,Sant'Isidoro Marina, important historical and naturalistical sites of Palude del Capitano, Torre Uluzzo and Portoselvaggio bay and continuing towards south Santa Caterina Marina and Santa Maria al Bagno, Le Quattro Colonne, La Montagna Spaccata up to the city of Gallipoli. Large, luxurious, historical villa "Tenuta Nucci", renovated in 2009, surrounded by trees, meadows, fields and vineyards. 2 km from the centre of Nardò, 25 km from the centre of Lecce, in a quiet, sunny position, 8 km from the sea, 8 km from the beach, in the countryside. Private: property 900 m2 (fenced), garden (fenced) with wildlife garden and flowers, lawn for sunbathing, swimming pool (16 x 8 m, depth 120 - 180 cm, seasonal availability: 01. May. - 30. Oct.). WC in the pool area, outdoor shower, pergola, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, pool maintenance by the owner/gardener. In the house: WiFi, central heating system, air conditioning. Gallipoli is easily accessible by road. From Lecce (the nearest big city, about 40 km away), you just have to take the SS101 towards Gallipoli. Lecce itself is well connected to the rest of the Puglia via motorways and fast lanes, especially from Bari (about 2h drive).
- By train:
Gallipoli is served by a small local railway line, managed by Ferrovie del Sud Est (FSE).
From Lecce, you must take a local train (not the main national lines like Trenitalia) which joins Gallipoli in just over an hour.
Attention: connections are not always frequent, especially on weekends.
- By plane:
The nearest airport is Brindisi ( Brindisi-Salento Airport), located about 85 km from Gallipoli (1h15 drive).
From Brindisi airport you can rent a car or take a bus/shuttle to Lecce, then continue by train or car.
Alternatively, Bari Airport (larger) is also an option, located about 2h30 drive away.
