Description of the establishment
Your host:
Pierrette and Rudy HOLIERHOEK : We have been welcoming holidaymakers or workers to our old house for 18 years. This cottage is part of a set of 3 buildings that were built in 1937. The first use of these sites was a municipal slaughterhouse. Closed in 1974, it was used for nearly 25 years by the town hall of Herisson for rental purposes. In 1999, we bought this place and revived it. We first renovated the former caretaker's house that we lived in for almost 10 years (current house), then renovated the stables (current main house). Rudy, a pioneer, is passionate about the "vegetal". It plants, sizes, cuts, maintenance these different gardens. Pierrette, a documentalist professor who was soon retired, built the interiors, recovered furniture and made these houses live.
